Find us on Team App

Torrens Valley Little Athletics would like to thank all our sponsors for helping us to participate in this great sport of track and field athletics.

The sponsors’ contribution enables our athletes to participate in weekly meets, where they strive to better their personal best records and the club records, some of which date back to the 80’s.

We are excited to announce that the club will continue strong into the 2018/2019 season with several volunteers offering to assist in the administration of the club for our young and old athletes to participate. We look forward to seeing you all next season.

We appreciate all sponsors’ financial contribution to this club, all for improving Kids’ Athletics in the Torrens Valley area.

Please contact us if you would like to sponsor this club for the 2018/19 season.

Weather Policy

Little Athletics meets will automatically be cancelled if the weather forecast for Friday at Mt Barker is 38 degrees or more. A modified program will be run on evening when the forecast temperature is 35 to 37 degrees.

A modified program may also be run on evening where weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain, lightning) are considered to be a risk to athletes health and safety. Ambient temperatures at Birdwood High School at 4pm will be considered in determining the program modifications.

What do the kids have to wear or bring?
A drink bottle, enclosed running shoes, clothes they can move freely in and a hat.
Where is the oval?
We can be found just 200m west of the High School office. In the driveway leading down you will see the school bus parking bay. Usually you will find our yellow TVLAC sign out the front.
How can parents help?
As we are an organisation that has so many different age groups and events each week, it is essential that we have parent help. The good news is that you don’t need any experience, just a willing attitude. The sorts of tasks we require help with include setting up, packing up, timing and chaperoning the age groups… The best thing is your kids love having you out there, sharing their experiences with you as they happen!
How can I ask for help?
Send us an email using the Contact Form. In this case we will pass the question on to the relevant person, and get back to you. You can also talk to us on our Facebook Page.
